Royal Instructions.

I, Sir GEORGE FERGUSON BOWEN, Knight Grand Cross of the

Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor

and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Depen-

dencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, in pursuance of Article XXV of

the Royal Instructions to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

and over the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, bearing date

the 9th day of April, 1877, do hereby certify with reference to the Private Bill hereunto annexed entitled Au Ordinance to au-
